that pesky job thing tends to interfere with my internet timeā€¦

That's why I did the math and decided app.net isn't worth any of my time or money.. I will say this though. I think there are some cool things coming out of the failure of app.net. :-) // @kdfrawg

@kdfrawg I figured the end will be when the subs drops below the costs to sustain servers given their activity level. But since there is nothing but radio silence from the founders we won't truely know until it happens. //

I say migrate but given I never used re-app.net what I say doesn't really matter. I don't see any future for app.net but I know some are still hanging in till the end.

Yeah that won't fly with my wife.

First things first. Need to start messing around with caldav servers.

Looking at moving one of my domains away from Google apps back onto my own servers. It'll be painful though as it is used by family members. Need to figure out the best approach so as to not cause too much disruption.

It is for me! I love me some pie! And an API!

Hello

I'm also intrigued by what Manton is doing. And I'm all for internecting networks wherever possible which is why I'm also on GNU social, diaspora, and such. I'd like to think that it wouldn't nessarily marginalise a platform but rather extend a community. I haven't seen Manton's stuff beyond his blog but I think there is opporunity there. As an aside I'm looking forward to seeing what has brewing as well.
