So I've learned. I just have to also remember to go and disable iMessage and Facetime right away when I do that to avoid getting trapped back in that hell again. Things like that make me dislike Apple.

Indeed, but I've come to really like having VoLTE which afaik is only available with certain smart phones. I fully realize I cause all of my own problems in the end, just need to come up with a creative solution to get everything I want the way I want it.

So a full reset of the iPhone gets everything working again. I guess when I move my sim around next I'll need to consider an alternative to the voicemail thing or just be prepared to reset the iPhone everytime I want to use it again.

Most phones it's not a problem. Just Apple and their special way of doing things that screws it all up.

That must be nice. Daily life fore me still requires the ability to recieve and/or return phone calls on a regular basis.

Not any more apparently. My iPhone has decreed them obsolete.

So I guess the iPhone really doesn't like its owner swapping their sim card around with other phones. The whole iMessage fiasco is one thing, but to have it not work with voicemails is something else. ಠ_ಠ

damn right! 5.25" floppies as well. Those were real floppy disks.

ah the good old days when the only command you needed was "make".

This is why I start twitching whenever I begin to look at some nodejs projects.

A moment of nostalgia…
