Hooray! Early Monday morning meeting canceled. That means I can consume more #coffee before dealing with other humans today.
Walked to the creek with child the younger so she can collect soil samples for a science project. 
@matigo I looked at it for a while when I was messing with GNU social (I also ran for about 9 months). But I came to the conclusion that ostatus isn't a great protocol for federation. Other networks I think do a much better job at it like diaspora. I've thought about trying out Mastodon more but between my Friendica server, 10C, and Pnut my social plate is pretty full.

@matigo I don't have a Mastodon instance. I do have a Friendica server which among other protocols speaks ostatus which is used by Mastodon for federation. So I can follow and be followed by users on Mastodon. I can also interact with users on GNU social, Diaspora, and Hubzilla.
