the dismantling of various expensive electronics to learning how they worked. Including the first family computer. And yes at first my mother was horrified, but relaxed and even encourged me after she saw I was able to restore things back to working order.

what you find on .org is the wordpress software that you can install and run on any web server or web hosting service that supports it. The .com is a wordpress hosting service. In either case you can use your own domain name if you so choose. My blog was originally on the .com service, but I moved it to my own server a little while back.

wordpress can either be self hosted or folks can use wordpress.com. Self hosted again you can ultimately set the rules on your content however you choose. Wordpress.com sites I believe give you some options but I don't recall what they are off the top of my head.

Also with regards to 10C, I believe has an option to set your basic content license. So posting content here does grant you a certain degree of control at least as far as that is concerned. You can see the options in the account settings if I'm not mistaken.
