Just recieved in my inbox this morning… "Advisory: Human Race has started" O_O
So finally after 5 and signed out of work. I'm now looking through my various project deciding on where I want to focus this weekend's code time towards.
@matigo Yep I’ve had the same issue. I’m attempting to be creative where I need to. We’ll see how it goes this weekend.
@matigo yep, mostly household and family stuff but I'm planning to get some coding time in as well. :)
My normal TGIF will be split into three moods now. Starting with "thank goodness I'm not commuting today", followed by "how do I get everything done this weekend?" thorughout the mid-day, and finishing up this evening with "yay pizza and beer!"
I saw an email today about bike-to-work day activity next week. So out of curiosity I asked Google how long it would take me to get to work via bicycle. The answer is 7.5 hours apparently. Yeah I won’t be doing that anytime soon.
@larand Hmm. The risk of them falling on me or the thus of them hitting the floor might still startle me just the same. But maybe a sensor that would visually alert me to their approach? 🤔
